DESIGN
My experience includes dual talent as a Design Project Manager directing projects through all developmental stages from initial concept to final product and as a Designer creating engaging visual design for print including children’s educational books, trade books, and business materials. As a creative thinker with strong conceptual skills, I have the ability to bring new ideas to any project to produce successful visual solutions that communicate ideas with stunning clarity.

ARTIST'S STATEMENT
My paintings reflect the simplicity of form and richness of color that I see in nature’s landscapes and my passion for folk art and craft of indigenous cultures. Primarily working in oil and acrylic, I enjoy interpreting the landscape. Born in California and raised in New England, I attended college in Oregon and Colorado and also lived in New Mexico with works reflective of the cultures and landscapes from these travels. I presently live and paint in Cape Ann, Massachusetts.

Illustration
I enjoy the message of children’s stories and my illustration style reflects that interest with detailed and colorful imagery. I also have extensive experience storyboarding children’s trade books.
